Shame: Connection VS. Invulnerability

Posted on 03/01/2011 Written by Dave MacDonald

The other day a colleague of mine sent me this TED video featuring vulnerability and shame researcher Brene Brown.  Within a few more days I had heard about Dr. Brown from 5 very different sources.  I’ve learned that when this happens to me I want to pay attention.   What she has to say rings very true for me and I want to share it with you.  She is speaking about shame and how our connectedness (or lack thereof) determines how we  deal with it.  Brene is BRILLIANT and this video might well help you rethink the way you live your life.  ENJOY!
