Alpha-Stim SCS – non drug / alternative treatment for anxiety, depression and insomnia
Cranial Electrical Stimulation is a well tolerated non-pharmaceutical means to manage anxiety, depression and insomnia. This small medical device can be used in the office or at home. Small electrodes are clipped to each ear for a treatment session of 20 to 60 minutes. Treatment lasts several weeks with some patients also continuing less frequently for a maintenance program.
